With 97.7 % of schools to receive ultra-fast broadband access by 2015, the Ministry of Education is working across a range of areas to help schools make best use of their improved connectivity.

The School Network Upgrade Project (SNUP) 

The Ministry is subsidising and managing the upgrade of internal networks in state and state-integrated schools to make them ultra-fast broadband ready.

Connecting your school to ultra-fast broadband 

The Ministry is informing and supporting schools throughout the process of connection to fibre.

Network for Learning 

The Ministry is preparing to procure a dedicated online network for schools. Available progressively from 2013 onwards, the Network will offer schools affordable, safe, and reliable ultra-fast Internet access as well as a range of online content and centrally-procured services.
